BUSY SPELL CONTINUES FOR CLEGG

English youngster Max Clegg continues his latest spell in the points.

Clegg who is racing in all three leagues in England this season suffered a rare off night at Berwick on Saturday night in the Premier League after scorning well for Edinburgh on Friday. Clegg is frustrated when he fails to score points but admits it was one of those night’s at Berwick.
He explained: “I can’t put my finger on what went wrong on Saturday as we tried everything during the meeting to put things right and find a set-up that suited the track.
“I enjoy Berwick normally but we couldn’t get it right. Friday night was a good one for me winning a couple of races but I thought I should have scored a few more points to be fair.
“The Premier League is brutal if you aren’t on the pace from the off but I’m learning all the time and enjoying my time at Edinburgh again.
“We want to get to the play-offs again and hopefully keep that league title. We have a side capable again this season and we are working hard as a team to achieve our goals.”
After Edinburgh suffered a rain-off at Scunthorpe on Sunday Clegg is back in action on Monday when he skippers Cradley Heathens in a National League KO Cup clash against Buxton.
